- Timeline – reserve the space and plan, plan, plan. Have a written timeline and checklist to help track all of the details.
- Location considerations: room size and space available for the number of employers you expect to host, student traffic through the venue, availability of electrical outlets and internet connection, number of tables/chairs needed for the room, and the length of time you will need the space.
- Budget considerations: funds for purchasing food and beverages, paying for employer parking, purchasing event signs, purchasing advertising.
- Other considerations: submit any approvals needed to hold the event, plan marketing/promotion and set deadlines for these items.
